Camels, known as the ‘ships of the desert’ are remarkable animals and offer a relaxing way to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Marrakech desert. Once you’ve found your balance and got used to the very rhythmic motion a camel makes, you’ll enjoy a break in a little village. Here you can stretch your legs, sip hot tea and enjoy Berber hospitality. Discover the millennial mud walls and clever hammams still in use today and how the aridity of the land unravels into a rich tapestry of tastes, flavours and myriad shades of red as the light changes across the landscape.

After a traditional tagine or couscous lunch your quad awaits! The afternoon quad-biking excursion takes you into rural Morocco to reveal beautiful lunar and contrasting landscapes of palm groves and Marrakech desert. After a thorough safety and equipment briefing you head off following trails through stone desert, Berber villages, crossing the wadi to explore the vast but diminishing remnants of the Marrakech Palmeraie. And of course, great views of the High Atlas, the roof of North Africa.
